The Evan Hansen Charitable Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, was established by his parents, Chuck and Mary, to carry out philanthropic activities in memory of their son. A recent donation funded a summer intern at the Merciful Help Center, where Evan worked last summer. Future donations will support mental health awareness.

In addition, Evan was a Spanish major who used his language skills in service of others and was planning to become a nurse after graduating from Wabash College.  In order to honor Evan's commitment and passions, Evan’s family and friends plan to establish a scholarship supporting young people entering the healthcare field, especially those desiring to serve neglected communities.

Thank you in advance for helping to make this dream a reality and continuing to make the world a better place in Evan’s name.
